Understanding user behavior and user perspective is critical to effectively communicating your message. We conducted a series of bi-annual user research activities employing different channels to ensure a diversity of perspectives and opinions. These included one-on-one interviews, in-person focus groups, hands-on user tests, and online surveys. Results, analysis and recommendations from each activity helped the client fine-tune their strategies and offerings.
We listen to data, too. A working session with the client defined the metrics of importance and identified what data informed them. We then created a metrics dashboard that integrates data from the client’s learning management system (CSoD), other client databases, and Google Analytics tracking data. Custom designed reports and visualizations now provide management and staff a concise picture focused on their organizational goals.
